Working in close partnership with the University, the Spencer Group will be looking to capture the interest of some of the foremost talent from across the space, leading the University’s drive to appoint the best possible individual to this critical, high-profile role at what is an increasingly competitive time.

The Spencer Group will soon be launching its first salary survey within the Pharmaceutical Technology sector, specifically aimed at sales professionals.
Why are salary surveys important for candidates?
Because they enable reports to be compiled on compensation and benefits, which helps you to make the right decisions. They are also invaluable tools as you can see if you are getting paid your actual worth and you can compare your salary with those of others occupying similar positions.
This also means you can find out if you are being rightly paid by your employer and knowing what the industry standard is will also help you when negotiating salary. If you are looking for a new job, it can help frame a figure so that you can negotiate with a prospective employer.
Why are salary surveys important for employers?
When a candidate is at the stage of accepting or declining your job offer, the salary is probably going to be at the top of their list. This means it is important that you are offering a competitive salary. The data obtained from salary surveys can help your organisation to design and manage the compensation structure so that it is at par with the industry standards. In addition to knowing the market rates, you also get an idea of what your competitors are paying.
Ultimately, by setting the right compensation package, your organisation will have a competitive advantage and employees will be attracted, retained and motivated to work with you.
Want to take part?
If you are currently a sales professional within the Pharmaceutical Technology sector we will be sending out our survey and gathering responses throughout June, so if you are keen to take part then please send your contact details to info@spencergroup.co.uk
